Corporate – Workspace is primarily in the Administrative Building

In Field – Workspace is primarily Off Site at various locations around the island

Plant Area- Workspace is primarily in the Power Plant Area

Hybrid – Workspace is a combination of in the Administrative Building and in the Field or in the Plant Area

Satellite- Workspace is at one of CUC’s satellite locations

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

       Analysing work order variances from plan and preparing appropriate variance explanations and other updates as required.

       Verifying department’s time sheet charges particularly worked overtime, against work schedules and project numbers.

       Preparation of department’s forecast information and adjustment if necessary to reflect revised plans in the Company’s financial system.

       Preparation of financial reports as required monitoring the department’s progress/performance in meeting financial targets.

       Providing department personnel with training and support on financial management and correct application of project numbers.

       Pursuing opportunities for project cost efficiencies (i.e. reviewing costs for doing work in house versus contracting) and make recommendations as necessary.

       Monitoring department’s expenditures and ensuring accuracy and correct reporting for timesheets and purchase orders.

       Other duties as required.

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

       Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration.

       Minimum of 5 years working experience in related field.

Key Competencies

       Must have strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

       Has good presentation skills, communicates clearly, and listens to others.

       Demonstrate sound judgment and problem solving skills.

       Familiarity with the Company’s purchasing related policies, procedures and practices.

       Familiarity with the Company’s financial management practices and project numbers.

       Possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
