Salary: CI$4,562 to CI$5,930 per month

Work Environment: Satellite
Corporate – Workspace is primarily in the Administrative Building
In Field – Workspace is primarily Off Site at various locations around the island
Plant Area- Workspace is primarily in the Power Plant Area
Hybrid – Workspace is a combination of in the Administrative Building and in the Field or in the Plant Area
Satellite- Workspace is at one of CUC’s satellite locations
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Analysing work order variances from plan and preparing appropriate variance explanations and other updates as required.
Verifying department’s time sheet charges particularly worked overtime, against work schedules and project numbers.
Preparation of department’s forecast information and adjustment if necessary to reflect revised plans in the Company’s financial system.
Preparation of financial reports as required monitoring the department’s progress/performance in meeting financial targets.
Providing department personnel with training and support on financial management and correct application of project numbers.
Pursuing opportunities for project cost efficiencies (i.e. reviewing costs for doing work in house versus contracting) and make recommendations as necessary.
Monitoring department’s expenditures and ensuring accuracy and correct reporting for timesheets and purchase orders.
Other duties as required.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
Minimum of 5 years working experience in related field.
Key Competencies
Must have strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Has good presentation skills, communicates clearly, and listens to others.
Demonstrate sound judgment and problem solving skills.
Familiarity with the Company’s purchasing related policies, procedures and practices.
Familiarity with the Company’s financial management practices and project numbers.
Possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
